Archival Arrangement and Description Independent Study (LBSC709) Projects

This student-designed independent study focused on learning arrangement and description for archives through theoretical literature and practical application. The practical application portion came through arranging and describing the Super Family Papers (5 boxes). The final deliverable included physical arrangement of the collection and production of an Encoded Archival Description (EAD) finding aid.

Syllabus for this independent study was designed to follow the structure of the UMD iSchool Arrangement and Description for Archives (LBSC684) class, but included a family archiving project as the final deliverable.
